Abstract
The article deals with historical and geographical aspects of the Kyiv industrial zones formation and development. Highlighted and analysed in detail the main stages of their formation. Revealed the essence and factors of the industrial zones territorial and functional transformation. Posted and described the models of industrial zones transformation in the context of Kyiv development post-industrial stage.
