THE HOUSEHOLDS’ FINANCIAL POTENTIAL: THE ESSENCE AND METHODOLOGY OF EVALUATION

Abstract
This thesis describes the content of the households’ financial potential, its role in ensuring the country's economic growth and the link with the level of consumer and investment potentials. The authors prove that there is a direct significant link between the level of the households’ consumer potential and the size of GDP. The influence of the households’ financial potential on the level of the country competitiveness is revealed. In the paper the level of financial potential of Ukrainian households is estimated.
