The identity of quality management – chosen issues

Abstract
The article tries to set the key ideas concerning quality management in the framework of terminology conventions proposed by some of the quality management leaders in Poland. It gave a chance to verify the ways of interpreting the definition of quality management. As the result they proposed to treat quality management as both: a generic function of a company and the concept of management. At the same time TQM was included in the group of management methods.
