THE IMAGE OF FAMILY IN ROBERTO ZUCCO DE KOLTES

Abstract
In this article, we will focus on the study of family in Koltès. Indeed, the play of Koltès opens many perspectives on this subject. So, we have confined oursevles to Roberto Zucco in this study, which we consider as a follow-up of our first article. Actually, this play reflects well not only the imagination of family in Koltès, but also depicts a scattered family which generally presents itself as a prison; rather than accompanying the individual in his / her self-fulfillment, it bullies it, is source of conflicts and reveals a deep crisis of identity. The question that confronts the individual is how to escape from it. In our analysis, we aim to examine the signs of the disintegration of the family bonds, the components that participate in family of individual oppression. The particular case of Roberto Zucco will also allow us to show the original rewriting of the myth of Oedipus by Koltès, with the stakes that he raises.
