THE IMPACT ANALYSIS OF THE EXPERIMENTAL PLAN ON THE MODEL OF ANTI-WEAR PROPERTIES

Abstract

The article presented the results of analysis of models of the wear limiting load capacity that were developed based on the experimental data. The elements of friction contacts lubricated with mineral oil with additives were investigated. Two rounds of investigation were conducted based on different experimental plans, which were a plan for mixtures with limitations, and the central compositional plan. The experimental results were used to develop the models of the relationships of the wear limiting load capacity and the content of the antiwear and antiseizure additives in the lubricant. Based on the results of verification experiments, the usefulness of the experimental plans for modelling of the tribological properties was analysed and evaluated. A comparison of the quality of the regression models and the models developed with the use artificial neural networks was also presented.
