THE INFLUENCE OF AGING POPULATION ON ECONOMY OF JAPAN

Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of determining the causes of aging population in Japan and directions of demographic factors’ influence on the economy of the state. Within the research paper, there were found negative trends of low economic growth, reduction of volume and negative value of net exports over the last decade. Demographic factors were observed among the main reasons of the following economic situation. In particular, there was analyzed the age structure of the population of Japan, established the reasons of increase in the proportion of elderly people and absolute and relative reduction in the number of children and working-age population. There were investigated possible directions of influence of demographic factors on economic indicators of the country, including consumer demand, deflation (inflation), level of budget revenues.
