THE INFLUENCE OF THE LEVEL OF MONETIZATION OF THE ECONOMY ON ECONOMIC GROWTH IN UKRAINE

Abstract
In the article the features of monetization of the Ukrainian economy are investigated and a quantitative and qualitative assessment of the influence of its level on economic growth is carried out. It is determined that there is a fairly close correlation between the dynamics of the level of monetization and the rates of growth of real GDP. At the same time, the calculations did not confirm the existence of a statistically significant relationship between the dynamics of the level of monetization and the growth rates of nominal GDP, as well as between inflation rates and the level of monetization of the economy. The main directions of increasing the level of monetization of the Ukrainian economy and its impact on economic growth are substantiated.
