The influence of vibration on pilots’ and the crew’s psychomotoric arm and leg reaction speed

Abstract

The aim of this research is to evaluate the effect of vibration on pilots and together flying crew. The methods of the work: the questionnaire, the test (the evaluation of the speed of psyc homotorical reaction), the mathematical statistical analysis. The research was held at Siauliai Base of Military Air Force, the pilots and the crew participated. The results of the work. It is established, that the speed of psychomotorical reaction of the pilots and together flying crew is below average. The conclusions. Vibration has a negative effect on the speed of psychomotorical reaction of the pilots and together flying crew. The speed below average is influence by little physical activity, great emotional pressure and tension of main pshycophysiological functions of the body, and some of the factors at work place.
