The interdisciplinary nature of the rehabilitation process of people deprived from liberty with regard to global standards. Innovative approach to this attempt

Abstract

This article is an attempt to describe the rehabilitation process of prisoners as a complex pedagogical issue, that must be dealt in an interdisciplinary manner. Rehabilitation pedagogy maintains a strong connection with other branches of the science, most of all philosophy, psychology, sociology, criminology. Article outlines the history of the formation of the rehabilitation idea, focusing on philosophical and socio-cultural context. The author points the most important fields of cooperation between rehabilitation pedagogy and other humanistic and social sciences. This methological diversity is a consequence of pragmatic approach of rehabilitation pedagogy.<br/><br/>
