The investigation method of unevenness of temperature impedance of adjacent parts of metal plate

Abstract

A method for determining the unevenness of the temperature spectral impedance of a metal band according to the results of measuring parameters of a non-stationary thermal field is proposed. In order to form a heat flux with a known spectral characteristic, it is suggested to use a fixed temperature heater that steplike changes the temperature at the point of heating. In the process of heating the band under study, a temperature is recorded in the set of points lying on the same line with the heating point. The algorithm of signal processing is developed for finding qualitative estimation of spectral temperature impedance. Differences in the spectral thermal impedance on different sites at their identical geometric sizes indicate changes in the structure of the metal on them. The proposed method of investigation allows to expand the possibilities of controlling local structural changes in metals in a non-destructive way with the use of a thermal field.
