The investigations on colour and gloss of lacquer coatings on impregnated pine wood

Abstract
The study presents results of the thermal aging of lacquer coatings formed on impregnated pine wood with the Pinadur® system under the conditions of the test container procedure. The appearance, colour and gloss unit of coatings, in the function of the number of aging cycles, were determined. It has been shown, i.a., that the tested coatings were characterized by favorable aesthetic and decorative values. The total difference in colour, in the function of the number of aging cycles, was higher for untreated pine wood compared to tested finishes including impregnation and coatings. In contrast, the gloss of the tested finishes was stable and evaluated as the matt. Keywords:
