The key features of crowdfunding and the role of business incubators in its development.

Abstract
In the article, the authors reveal the essence of the concept of "crowdfunding" and they carry out the justification of necessity of using this innovative tool in domestic conditions. An analysis of experience of Ukrainian start-ups, who used the crowdfunding technologies in their activities, was analyzed. A comparative description of the features of the crowdfunding, financing through "business angels" and venture capital investment is carried out. Some differences, advantages and disadvantages of these innovative fundraising models for project implementation are identified. The general tendencies of crowdfunding in Ukraine are analyzed. The authors conducted a study of role of business infrastructure (business incubators, business accelerators, innovative hubs and more) for the development of crowdfunding and small innovative entrepreneurship in order to provide the necessary information base for further detailed research.
