THE KEY INDICATORS OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE EU COUNTRIES AND UKRAINE

Abstract
In the article, the authors carry out the analysis of the Ukrainian industry with regards to the new industrial policy in Ukraine via using the key European indicators characterizing the country’s industrial development. These indicators include such as the value-added share of manufacturing as a percentage of the total value-added share of the economy, the share of gross fixed capital formation as a percentage of GDP, the expenditure on R&D as a percentage of GDP. This allows revealing the main trends of industrial development in Ukraine and comparing them to those in Europe.
