The main factors influencing the interruption of studies at a high school

Abstract
Recently, universities and colleges due to subjective and objective reasons are undergoing the process of students’ withdrawal (wastage) that is unaccep table on both: personal and governmental attitudes. The article represents research “The Reasons of Students’ Wastage in Šiauliai College” data collected by Career Center and analyses the main was tage reasons. The socio-graphic information (gender, age, college entrance year, studies form, studies curriculum, course) about drop-outs are given in the article.
