Abstract
The author - reserve colonel, psychologist, director of the Military Institute of Aviation Medicine in Warsaw in 2003-2016, presents his reminiscences on the adaptation of the Institute to NATO standards, both in terms of logistics and science and research. He devotes a lot of attention to new aircraft simulators and diagnostic devices, which increase the scientific and clinical potential of the Institute.
