THE MODERN STATE OF EFFICIENCY OF THE TRADE INDUSTRY OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The article deals with current trends and the dynamics of the efficiency of Ukrainian trade enterprises. In the Ukrainian trade sector, half of all enterprises are involved, but this sector generates only 20% of value added, which indicates the poor performance of the enterprises of trade. A significant drop in household incomes has led to a decline in purchasing power and, consequently, a decline in the volume of real trade in 2014–2015. In the same period, currency fluctuations have led to a significant increase in the costs of trade enterprises. All these factors led to a significant reduction in the turnover of stocks at trade enterprises, reducing their efficiency.
