THE MODERN STATE PENSION SYSTEM IN UKRAINE, PROBLEMS AND WAYS OF IMPROVEMENT

Abstract
The article «The modern state pension system in Ukraine, problems and ways of improvement» focused on the need for the estab-lishment of the pension insurance system that meets the modern processes of economic development and its full compliance with the market principles of functioning, and the need to implement profound reforms of the whole pension system of Ukraine. Carried out assessment of the current state of pension provision, the implementation of the pension reform in Ukraine, identifies key trends and prospects, the analysis of the operation of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in 2015. Highlighted the key issues of func-tioning and improvement of the pension system in Ukraine. The aim of this work is to study the main directions of the pension reform, the analysis of the relationship between its basic com-ponents and conduct a preliminary assessment of the effectiveness of the developed mechanisms of reform. Researched current status, characteristics, problems and prospects of perfection of pension system in Ukraine. Scientific novelty of the results is due to the fact that this study is an attempt of complex analysis of the current state of pension provision, problems and ways of improving the pension system in Ukraine. Proved that the modern state pension system is unsatisfactory, both in purely economic terms, and from the point of view of so-cial justice, despite repeated attempts to reform it. Identified key areas for further improvement of the pension system of Ukraine.
