The modular system for measurements and diagnoses, based on LabVIEW platform

Abstract
The article presents an example of using the LabView environment to develop an application that allows a preliminary diagnosis of bearing assembly. The basis of the technical evaluation procedures are vibration signals, which are recorded on the bearing housing. Among the available diagnostic parameters a crest factor has been selected. It is a commonly used measure of the geometric degradation of the rolling bearing. The developed application has a modular structure, allowing its customization according to the user's (explorer) needs. The presented method of creating software applications, has been verified during an active experiment on a real object.
