The New Focus of Consumption: An Analysis On “Private Shopping”

Abstract
Today, the widespread using of the new communication technologies and the Internet put to change the shopping formats of the consumers. The consumers in Turkey, together with the effect of this change, have managed to adapt in a short time over the Internet shopping habits. The “private shopping” sites that hundreds of kinds of products offer discounted prices to their members, has contributed to the transformation of the online shopping. In this context the pioneer shopping sites of this field such as Markafoni, Limango and Trendyol in terms of the shopping format and the production of innovations, examined on the different criteria such as product categories and visual design with the method of quantitative content analysis.
