The notion of quality of education and conditions of its quantification at the universities

Abstract
The article focuses on issues concerning the quality assurance in higher education institutions (HEIs). There are described the changes in higher education in the last twenty years in Poland, as well as the role of the stakeholders and the factors affecting the quality of education. The article also contains a proposal of measures of quality of education, devoted down into 3 categories.
