Journal Title: İlahiyat Tetkikleri Dergisi - Year 2017, Vol 1, Issue 47
Abstract
Qutb’s book “Fi Zilal Al-Quran” has received wide acclaim from both its proponents and opponents; hence its several editions. In order to shed some light on this book, the theme of the Unseen (Occult) is selected for further study in this paper. For it is well known among Islamic Dogma specialists that the Occult doctrine is one of the pillars of Faith. This study is divided into three chapters (concept, content and methodology). So what is the Occult? How is it viewed bySayyidQutb? How is it present in hisTafseer? What is his approach to studying it? These are some of the questions answered by this study, noting that I have not seen a precedent specialized study of this aspect.
