The occurence of mites (Acari) on walls infested with moulds in dwelling houses
Journal Title: Civil and Environmental Engineering Reports - Year 2011, Vol 1, Issue 6
Abstract
Moulds and mites, a serious allergenic threat, are present in dwelling buildings with mycological biodeterioration. The problem becomes even more serious if among allergenic fungi there are species which are mycotoxicogenic and cause human and animal mycosis, such as: Aspergillus versicolor Tiraboschi and Scopulariopsis brevicaulis Bainier. The most common mites found in buildings in temperate climates are Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus and D. farinae.

TEST OF IMPACT OF VIBRATIONS FREQUENCY ON MEAN ERRORS OF THE PRECISE HEIGHT DIFFERENCES MEASUREMENT WITH ANALOGUE AUTOMATIC LEVELLER NI002
The article describes the results of tests carried out to determine the measurable effect of vibrations on the accuracy of measurements with an automatic precise leveller. It contains specification of the research statio...
NUMERICAL ANALYSIS OF EFFECTIVENESS OF STRENGTHENING CONCRETE SLAB IN TENSION OF THE STEEL-CONCRETE COMPOSITE BEAM USING PRETENSIONED CFRP STRIPS
One of the methods to increase the load carrying capacity of the reinforced concrete (RC) structure is its strengthening by using carbon fiber (CFRP) strips. There are two methods of strengthening using CFRP strips - pas...
NUMERICAL ANALYSIS OF STEEL-REINFORCED CONCRETE COMPOSITE GIRDERS
The article presents a numerical model of a typical composite girder which consists of a strip of a reinforced concrete slab resting on a steel beam. Compatibility of horizontal displacements is assumed in the slab-beam...
On the modelling of dynamic problems for biperiodically stiffened cylindrical shells
Thin linear-elastic cylindrical shells having a micro-periodic structure along two directions tangent to the shell midsurface (biperiodic shells) are objects of considerations. The aim of this contribution is to formulat...
Modelling of thin periodic plates subjected to large deflections
The objects under consideration are thin linear-elastic plates with periodic structure in planes parallel to the plate midplane, subjected to large (of the order of plate thickness) deflections. The main aim is to propos...
