Journal Title: Записки з романо-германської філології - Year 2018, Vol 1, Issue
Abstract
The article outlines main aspects of study of the Old High German written monument in Old Saxon dialect. The paper highlights the problem from diachronic side and presents it taking into consideration the historical processes occurring at that time. On the one hand, there are many processes in German language nowadays, which cannot be researched without the investigation of the principles of work in the language in different periods of its developing. On the other hand, it is necessary to use the methods of modern sciences, such as linguosynergetic, to describe the topical questions to get the information more exhaustively. When studying the development of the phonetic system, it is also necessary to take into account its connection with other levels of language. Therefore, knowledge of language development is essential for understanding many processes at all levels. And the manifestation of these dialectal features in the ancient languages can be used in the teaching of modern German language.
