Abstract
This paper presents the results of the survey conducted among rural entrepreneurs in Świętokrzyskie province. The aim of this study was to identify opportunities for SMEs in rural areas of the region. Responded to questions about the motives, factors, strengths and weaknesses and the opportunities and threats to the development of SMEs.
