The organizational learning process as a way to cope with uncertainty

Abstract

This paper assumes that increasing uncertainty is a very common condition in organizationsin the market space these days. The author points out that the organizational learning processis a way to cope with uncertainty. The author also presents the results of her research, whichconcerned the level of involvement of Polish firms in the implementation of the concept of organizationallearning. In the survey from 2010 she used the method of A.D. Garvin and others,which is based on self-assessment.
