THE PECULIARITIES OF LIABILITY OF A CONTRACTOR FOR THE BREACH OF A CONTRACT ON CARRYING OUT EXPLORATION WORKS

Abstract
The article is devoted to the peculiarities of liability under the contract the contractor to carry out search operations. Attention is focused on the classification of contractor breaches the contract award to conduct search operations, the pos- sibility of the appearance of defects in the results of search operations due to lack of knowledge of the subject of research, lack of knowledge about the study area («pioneering risk»). Found that opportunity to bring civil liability of the contractor demonstrates the special conditions of its responsibility for damages caused by shortcomings result of search operations.
