The phenomenon of "regional" political parties in Ukraine

Abstract
In the article are analysed the peculiarities of phenomenon of the regional political parties. There were characterized the types and activity of regional parties in the countries of European Union. Also were researched the main reasons of the genesis of the regional parties in Ukraine. It was highlighted a participation of the Ukrainian regional parties in the local elections in 2010 and 2015.
