THE PLACE OF LEGISLATIVE POWER IN THE NATIONAL SECURITY SYSTEM

Abstract
The author analyzes the national system of bodies entrusted with the function of providing of national security. Based on the constitutional principle of separation of powers, the proposal to separate consideration of the legislative power as a subject of national security was made. Legislative power in Ukraine is presented the only body – the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The article analyzes the functions of parliament and the possibility of their effective use to ensure financial and economic security. The proposal for expansion of the subjects of legislative initiative and broad public involvement in the legislative activity of parliament is done.
