The place of physical activity among the determinants of health

Abstract
The objective of the present study is to underline the role of physical activity among the factors that affect the health situation of a population. The article consists of three parts. The first one shows the understanding of the concept of health, the second one briefly discusses four groups of factors influencing the health situation (lifestyle, geographic environment, biological organism, the medical care system), in the third one the focus is on the discussion of the role of physical activity in maintaining health.
