The police as a subject of activities of crime prevention

Abstract
The author examines the powers of the National Police of Ukraine as the main subject of crime prevention. Based on the analysis of the current legislation in the area of crime prevention, the activities of certain units of the National Police of Ukraine on crime prevention (counteraction) were examined, and separate conclusions were drawn regarding the need for improving and coordinating the work of all police units on crime prevention.
