THE POSITION AND SIGNIFICANCE OF REPUBLIC OF BULGARIA IN THE REGIONAL AND GLOBAL SECURITY SYSTEM

Abstract
The space of the modern world is under the constant influence of global processes that transform the system to ensure both national and international security. Traditional security tools are becoming less and less effective and stable positions are occupied by “soft power” tools. This article presents the importance of Republic of Bulgaria in the regional and global security system. Emphasis is placed on the country's soft power as a factor in maintaining regional leadership.
