THE POTENTIAL OF TOURISM IN THE PREŠOV COUNTY REGIONS

Abstract
Slovakia has suitable natural and cultural-historical conditions for tourism that could help the economic situation to improve here. The article is concerned with the potential of tourism in the Prešov County regions. The potential is evaluated in the medium-term and long-term horizons for particular activities of tourism, but also for each region of tourism in Prešov Region. The second part of the report is concerned with the evaluation of basic indicators of accommodation facilities, which are the part of the material and technical basis of tourism and a precondition for implementation of tourism
