THE POTENTIAL OF WATER TRANSPORT OF UKRAINE IN THE CONTEXT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT PARADIGM

Abstract
The development of the infrastructure complex is based on the principles of sustainable development towards the optimal structure of different types of transport, taking into account the needs of the national economy, available resources, and global trends. The article’s research focuses on the revival of water transport, whose activities have a less negative impact on the environment. The most important environmental effects of transport are impacts on climate change, air pollution, noise levels, depletion of biodiversity and natural resources. These findings have practical value in the development of regional strategies and programs of development in the context of the European integration vector.
