THE PRINCIPLE OF PROFESSIONALISM DURING THE PUBLIC SERVICE IN EUROPEAN STATES

Abstract
The peculiarities of realization of the principle of professionalism during the passage of public service in European countries are investigated. The development and modern manifestation of the professionalism in the public (state, civilian) service of such states as Great Britain, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Norway, Greece, Bulgaria, and Poland were highlighted. As a result of the research, certain proposals were formulated to borrow positive experience in the development and regulation of professionalism in the implementation of public service in the Ukrainian legislation.
