The Problem of Pedagogical Competence Definition of the Teacher of Physical Education in Institutes of Higher Education

Abstract
The article deals with the problem of defining the meaning of pedagogical competence in physical education. The term "competence" is defined as ability to complete tasks and to do work. The article displays also the scientific analysis of the problem of formation and development in case of pedagogical competence. The effectiveness of the professional activity defines the professional competence that is based on the stage of preparation and finally is formed and developed in process of the practice. The main aim of the article is to show the basic aspects of the scientific research in the sphere of pedagogical competence of the teacher of physical education. The author arrives at the conclusion that the problem of pedagogical competence definition of the teacher of physical education in institutes of higher education is very popular nowadays.
