THE PROBLEM OF PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL SUPPORT OF CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCHES

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of psychological and pedagogical support of children with special educational needs, which is topical in special psychology and pedagogy. Considering the recent world trends related to the preparation of the person for a full life in society, the idea of psychological and pedagogical support for children with disabilities of psychophysical development has acquired particular importance. The author has carried out a theoretical analysis of the main scientific researches covering various aspects of integrated support for all participants in the educational process: the family, teachers, parents and children. The article considers modern research of the problem of accompanying students with special educational needs in inclusive educational institutions. Also, the reasoned interpretations of the term «psychological and pedagogical support» are presented. The existing principles of psychological and pedagogical support of children with special educational needs have been highlighted and analyzed. The theoretical basis of model construction concerning psychological and pedagogical support of children with special educational needs is indicated. Ths issues of psychological support for parents who are raising children with development disorders are addressed. Conclusions are drawn concerning the insufficient of theoretical and practical elaboration of this problem and the prospects for further research are indicated.
