THE PROBLEM OF USING THE UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE IN EDUCATION: CHANGES OF 2017

Abstract
The article analyzes the socio-legal aspects of the functioning of the Ukrainian language in education, and the conformity of Article 7 “Language of Education” of the Law of Ukraine “On Education” with Article 53 (5) of the Constitution of Ukraine and the Hague Recommendations on the Rights of National Minorities to Education. The socio-political situation and socio-cultural aspects of functioning of the Ukrainian language as a state are taken into account.
