Abstract
The theme chosen for the study makes it possible to analyze the socio-cultural environment of Ukraine at the end of the twentieth century through the prism of D. Gnatiuk's creative biography. By fixing the problem of artistic ascension of the master to the Olympus of world recognition in the context of the cultural and artistic realities of time, we have the opportunity to fill the gaps in the objective realities of the Ukrainian opera space chosen for the study period.
