The Proficiency and Changing Role of the Library Professionals in the Internet Era

Abstract
The paper deliberate on the Proficiency and changing role of the library professionals in the Internet Era. Now a day Electronic Information and access of Internet creates many challenges towards library professionals. The traditional concept of library resources has reached beyond the four walls of the buildings. We are entering the virtual library phase and librarians have to use the changing technology to provide the best access and service to their users. Library Professionals must accept and adapt the new techniques and systems. They must provide valuable library services as new generation is focusing on it for their owngood and for the bright future.
