Abstract
The jubilees of ninetieth anniversary of Otolaryngology Clinic of Warsaw Medical University and the quarter century of Historical Section of the Polish Otorinolaryngologists Society – Head and Neck Surgeons are mentioned at the beginning. The development of otorhinolaryngology and otorhinolaryngological societies on the Polish territories in the nineteenth century and the fist half of the twentieth century are presented widely. The activity of this Section and scientifi journal of this Section and achievements of Eugeniusz Olszewski and Zbigniew Szlenk are presented with full particulars.
