THE REAL WORLD IN WEDDING CEREMONIES (ON MATERIALS OF FIELD RESEARCH, 2016)

Abstract
The article defines and analyzes the semantics of things in the wedding rites in the Grodno region. On many and varied examples of wedding song texts, which were obtained by the author during expeditions in 2016 in the Grodno region, the main items of the marriage rite are sequentially considered: wreath, loaf, casing, vat. It is established that the items listed in rite are the items that perform a special role, and in the lyrics, they are images that help to reveal the inner meaning of a song more fully.
