THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HOPELESSNESS LEVELS AND DEPARTMENT OF THE STUDENTS STUDYING AT PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORTS

Abstract
The aim of this research is to determine the relation between their hopelessness and the department of students studying at School of Physical Education and Sports, Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University. The sample of the research consists of 82 students from 4th class at School of Physical Education and Sports, Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University (KMU). In this study, Beck Hopelessness Scale (BHS) was used and multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the relationship between dependent and independent variables in the interpretation of data. As a result; It was found that the total level of hopelessness of the participants was in the middle level, there was a negative relationship between the emotion dimension, motivation loss dimension and the future dimension of expectation from the episodes of learning and hopelessness to the future.
