The Relevance of Developing Children’s Critical Attitude Towards TV Commercials: Experience of Lithuania and Foreign Countries

Abstract

The article presents a child's and TV advertising relationship: some reasons that TV commercials are so powerful in Lithuania are set as well. The need to educate children‘s critical thinking is argued along with different researchers‘ findings and conclussions. Also the need to prepare specialists who would be able to help shapping children‘s critical thinking is discussed.
