UNEMPLOYED COMPETENCE-BUILDING IMPORTANCE FOR LABOR MARKET CHANGES IN LITHUANIA

Abstract
Recently labor market is changing very fast and it becomes very important competences building factor. Some specialists become unemployed because their specialties are not needed anymore either their skills become not updated. Although there are many changes in the market structure but the need for managers and finance specialists is still growing. This article is introducing the problems that labor market is facing: shortage of qualified work force, low labor efficiency, lower work force competitiveness in the market nowadays. The goal of the article is to indicate the importance of the unemployed competence-building for the labour market in Lithuania. There is reviewed labor market situation in Lithuania.
