THE RESULTS OF EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES OF DETERMINING THE DEMAND FOR PARKING IN THE CENTRAL DOWNTOWN

Abstract
The technique for determining the demand for parking downtown is based on investigation of traffic flows moving towards the city centre and backward is offered. The given technique tried on example of Kharkiv area made it possible to determine considerable fluctuations of demand for parking as well as maximum transport loading during the working day rush hours while making the main bulk of business trips.
