THE RIGHT OF A CONVICT TO PARTICIPATE A TRANSLATOR IN A CRIMINAL PROCEEDING

Abstract
Despite the considerable interest of the scholars in the procedural status of the convicted person, the mechanism of realizing his rights is not sufficiently worked out. Given the growing number of crimes committed in the field of foreign economic relations by international criminal groups, migrants on the territory of Ukraine, there is an urgent need to involve an interpreter in overcoming linguistic barriers, ensuring the rights of participants in criminal proceedings and resolving the main tasks of criminal justice. The article provides a comprehensive theoretical study of the right of the convict to participate in the criminal proceeding a translator, in case of not speaking the language in which the criminal proceedings are conducted.
