Abstract
Analyzed trends and stages of development of legislation on appeals against decisions, actions or inactivity of the bodies of pre-trial investigation and the Prosecutor in Ukraine in the period of the Russian Empire since the introduction of the Institute of judicial investigators and during the Soviet period. Analyzed the legislation of the Russian Empire and the Criminal procedure codes of Ukraine 1922, 1927 and 1960's.
