The role and significance of the ISAF mission in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan taking into account the participation of CIMIC

Abstract
This article is dedicated to the characterization of UN and NATO missions of ISAF (International Security Assistance Force) in Afghanistan. The article reveals the main provisions of UN Security Council resolutions which sanction such activities isolating features and reasons to NATO’s involvement in the operation. The article disclosed feature formation provincial reconstruction team as part of this operation and the drawn attention to the participation of Ukraine in carrying out this mission.
