The role of e-governmenteffectiveness as leverage of E-service in public sector (Case study of Greater Amman Municipality)

Abstract

This study aimed to clarify the efficiency of E-government on providing E-service and tomeasure the satisfaction of the people in Greater AmmanMunicipality (GAM)with E- service.Therefore,the researcher revealed a study of 201 clients from (GAM). The investigation based onquestionnaire distributed to the sample.Collected data were examined bySPSS software. The technique that followed was ANOVA analysis. As a result, the study exposed that, the people of Amman are not satisfied with e-service provided by (GAM). This finding consistent with a fewer researches in the same area. In reality, the public administration slowly follow the growing up technology and IT, especially in the third world developing countries as Jordan.
