The role of some biochemical parameters in patients with chronic prostatitis

Journal Title: Pedagogy and Psychology of Sport - Year 2016, Vol 2, Issue 2

Abstract

Abstract Chronic prostatitis, inflammatory disease of infectious origin with the possible accession of autoimmune and dysbiotic violations occur in almost 50% of men of working age. The aim of the study was to determine the level of biochemical markers of inflammation and protective systems in the two biological fluids - blood serum and in seminal fluid of patients with chronic prostatitis. Studies have been conducted in 15 patients with chronic prostatitis and 12 healthy individuals (males aged 20-45 years with no systemic diseases). The results show a decrease in somatic nonspecific immunity and the level of physiological antioxidant system, as well as the leading role of non-infectious factor in the development of chronic prostatitis. Determination of biochemical markers of the above will contribute to the improvement of the efficiency of diagnostic and pathogenetic therapy of this disease.
